This blog started off as a teaching blog. A place where I could reflect, share and connect with people through my passion for teaching. In the few years that I’ve had this blog, I’ve seen a shift from a teaching blog to a place to share what inspires me. I ended up shifting my teaching stories and ideas onto two apples a day, a blog I co-author with my friend Melody.
This blog became more of a personal blog in which I started posting more photos and snapshots from my adventures abroad. I started to take photography a bit more seriously by investing in a dslr camera (Nikon d5100) and learned how to edit photos using Adobe Lightroom.
Now my blog has transformed to more about the things that inspire me outside the classroom, including seeing the world through my travels and capturing those moments through my camera. I’ve started dabbling a bit with videography, but I still have a long way to go!
A peak into my world. A few of my favorite things- photography, tea, bakeries, beach, & God.

How do you find teaching in Korea, compared to NYC? Have you written any posts on the experiences and differences? Love your photos and your ‘welcome’ widget.
That’s actually a great suggestion for some future posts!! Yes, teaching in Korea is soo different in many ways, but similar as well. Thanks for stopping by my blog!
I love this page. Like @murcha, it would be interesting to see how you’re doing. You might like to follow @jutecht and @mscofino on Twitter; they are also Int’l school educators.
cheers,

hey, i love this ‘space’ you’ve created here and can see that you are a beacon of light and doing amazing things in the world. i am on a year sabbatical at the moment and volunteering in 5 or 6 countries around the world to make the lives of children better. i was in peru and haiti earlier this year and now planning on my next leg which will involve Nepal and India. Can you please give me some more details about Gloria School as this has been suggested to me but I can’t find anything on the internet about volunteering there. many thanks. love n light, joe
