Slice of Life Entry #25
The Eiffel Tower stretches it’s hands towards the cloudless blue sky.
Long lines that snake around it’s feet.
People with cameras waiting to get to the top.
Will you take the elevator or stairs?
Expected wait time: 2 hours long.
We’ll pass.
We’ll come back another day.
We will get to the top of the Eiffel Tower!
Maybe at night?

Bonjour, Jee! I am behind in reading, so am so excited that you are in Paris. What a wonderful place to see and be. I hope all is going well & that by the time you read this, you have made it to the top of the tower! Thanks for the super photos!
I hope you make it to the top. When I was in Paris, I never did. I only enjoyed the Eiffel Tower from the ground. 😦
Great pictures! Thank you for sharing 🙂 I hope I get to make it to the Eiffel Tower someday, preferably in the winter so I can ice skate.
Oh, I love your pictures. Some wonderful angles. Hope you get to the top. The day I was there, I only got to the what looks like a second walkway around. We couldn’t go any higher becasue they were working on it. Thanks for sharing. Happy Slicing! 🙂
Looks like you’re having a great time!
Go to the top at night. The lights are amazing! Love the photos, makes me want to hop a plane.
I want to travel!!! Your post makes me jealous, but I just want to scream, “You HAVE to go to the top! NOW! AND LATER! DAY AND NIGHT! You’re there! You HAVE to embrace it ALL!” 🙂
I can’t wait until you finally do make it to the top — maybe at dusk so you can grasp both the experience during the day and night! Breathtaking I’m sure! I hope you try and return and sometimes you just have to wait for the best things in life! (Sounds like that should a famous quote or expression?!?) Oh, love the photos too! Au revoir!
Go at night! It’s even more amazing at that time of day.
LOVE the way you’re holding la Tour Eiffel in your hand!
You’re just a few days early for poetry month. 🙂 It sounds like you are enjoying yourself and the weather looks fabulous.
Excellent photos! I would have made the same decision about that 2-hour wait.
