Slice of Life Entry #10: Slices of Dessert (all in one busy Saturday)
- small bag of famous amos chocolate chip cookies
- mini-twix bars
- mango-ade with mango sorbet
- strawberry jelly
- milk tea pudding in a plastic cup
- roll cake with strawberry
- one square piece of turkish delight covered in white powder
- heavenly slices of homemade red velvet birthday cake with cream cheese frosting
Yes, I really did eat all of these things today, plus my meals. However, I will say that I shared a lot of these desserts with other people. I finally got to eat red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting, but I didn’t make it. One of my coworker’s wife is an amazing baker! My cream cheese is still in my fridge…waiting for life to slow down…
I have never had red velvet cake, but I love the sound of the name of this beautiful looking dessert. I’ve had real mango lassi in India, but the mango sorbet sounds luscious!
Wow! What a tasty day for you! The red velvet looks so good…almost makes me want to lick to screen! 🙂
This sounds like a quality eating plan. 🙂 I bet it was delicious!
What a sweet day! I just shared 3 desserts at a fantastic Thai restaurant in Elmhurst, Ayada. I highly recommend it for when you’re back in New York!
By the way, the guest blogger is Robyn! She didn’t want her name to be directly associated with what she wrote because she referred to a negative work situation.
Beautiful photos & a description of such a marvelous day. So happy you had a special one.
That red velvet cake does look heavenly.
