I am sitting on my couch and eagerly waiting for my parents to arrive to my apartment. It feels a bit weird as the roles are reversed. It’s usually my parents waiting for me at home. Now, Korea has become my home and they are visiting for the first time since I moved here over two years ago.
I finally cleaned, scrubbed, and vacuumed almost all the corners in my apartment.
I finally bought eggs, fresh fruit, and orange juice and attempted to fill my empty refrigerator.
I finally washed bedsheets, pillow cases and towels.
It only took a week or so…but my apartment is READY!
I bought these eggs by mistake! When I opened the container I realized they are different sized eggs! The big ones are for parents, and the little ones for kids. I guess it kind of fits since my parents are here.
Yes, my parents came with 7 bags with them. Well, to be fair, most of these bags were presents/gifts for relatives.
wow. that is a lot of luggage! can’t wait to meet the parents, your umma already has a special place in my heart π
Nice use of Korean there… hehehe π
I LOVED the use of the comma and the repeating lines! Can I use this to share with my class for the craft?
Have a wonderful time with your parents!
Hi Cathy! Of course you can share it with your class. I would be honored! π What grade do you teach?
What a treat for your parents to be able to come and visit. I am sure they are so proud of you!
Lucky you! Enjoy every moment with them. Love the egg-sortment!
